Release Notes 6.9.3

With this release of acmp, we want to remain true to our quality and service standards and provide important bug fixes.

acmp vulnerability management

Longer scanning processes in vulnerability management could lead to memory problems. This resulted in a slower console and temporarily increased CPU utilization on the acmp server. This bug has been fixed, workarounds can be reversed. If you have used replacement files in the meantime, no further action is required.

Unix Agent 1.12.0

The maintenance time windows are also available for the Unix Agent with 6.9.3. In addition, the Unix Agent and the Unix Offline Scanner are now only located together in the Server/Clients directory.

acmp Core

The loading speed of contacts in the detailed view for cost centers, departments and locations has been significantly increased. Optimizations were made in Intune Management for this purpose.
Note: After creating a new user in Intune, the console must be restarted so that it is displayed correctly with linked contacts.

acmp Gateway

Previously, the automatic creation and renewal of gateway certificates could be prevented by configured maintenance time windows. From now on, the renewal job ignores these time windows so that certificates are renewed automatically and independently of the maintenance times.

SQL Server Native Client

Database errors can occur when using older versions of the SQL Server Native Client. To prevent these problems, the SQL Server Native Client 2012 must be installed on the server host. During the update installation, the setup automatically checks whether the required version is available and ensures that the installation is only continued if this requirement is met. In this context, we would like to reiterate our recommendation to use the latest possible Microsoft components for both the server and the SQL area.

Components to be updated
The Unix Agent must be updated separately(manual link), otherwise no other components need to be updated.
