aesb Release Notes 1.11<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

We are pleased to present the new aesb version 1.11. This version brings many practical innovations for productive use - with the clear aim of giving you more <\/span>Transparency<\/strong>, <\/span>Automation <\/span><\/strong>and <\/span>convenience <\/span><\/strong>. PowerShell users in particular benefit from the ability to control all core functions of the platform using scripts. <\/p>\n

As part of the continuous further development, three new submodules have been introduced in the aesb Shell, ranging from user administration to supervisor control and microservice administration. Below you will find an overview of all the new features. <\/p>\n

aesb Shell User ManagementWith<\/strong>the current update, an important function has been added to the aesb Shell: The <\/span>User Management<\/strong>, which is fully controllable via PowerShell cmdlets. This allows users, roles and authorizations to be managed directly from the shell - without having to go through a graphical interface.
This extension is aimed in particular at administrators and DevOps teams who want to automate administrative tasks or integrate them into existing scripts. In addition to creating and editing users, roles can also be assigned, rights managed and users removed - all script-based and traceable.
By integrating user management into the aesb shell, users benefit from significantly increased efficiency for recurring administrative tasks and the ability to easily integrate complex authorization concepts into existing automation processes. <\/p>\n

aesb Shell Supervisor Management<\/strong><\/p>\n

With the introduction of aesb Shell Supervisor Management, comprehensive PowerShell-based control of the supervisor components within the aesb infrastructure is now available.
Using a series of new cmdlets, users can call up a complete overview of all active supervisors and view detailed information on individual instances - including status, runtime, version and log settings. In addition, administrative actions are now also possible directly from the shell: supervisors can be restarted, specifically deleted or logging can be activated or deactivated as required.
With supervisor management via PowerShell, the aesb shell is growing into a central tool for the operational control of the entire microservice infrastructure.

aesb Shell Microservice Management<\/strong><\/p>\n

New cmdlets have been added to the aesb shell, which can now be used to manage microservices directly via PowerShell. Users can start, stop and restart microservices, move them between supervisors and create new instances based on templates. This makes the management of microservices much more flexible and allows them to be efficiently integrated into automation processes. <\/p>\n

Powershell Microservices<\/strong><\/p>\n

In addition to the introduction of the three new submodules in the aesb shell, these are now also available in the PowerShell microservices.
Proxy settings
The new proxy settings give administrators the option of individually configuring the proxy settings for SICS and for the console so that the respective communication runs specifically via a defined proxy server. In addition, a separate proxy can be defined for the license service and the update service in order to specifically control the data traffic for license validations and updates. These new functions offer increased flexibility when adapting to existing network infrastructures, improve network security and enable simple administration of proxy configurations directly via the system and service settings. <\/p>\n

Important notes<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thanks to the newly introduced online update mechanism, you can easily update aesb 1.10 to aesb 1.11. If you are using a purely offline environment, you must add the offline license for aesb version 1.11 before or directly after the update in order to be able to use aesb without longer interruptions.
