aagon presents acmp Intune Management<\/strong><\/p>\n

Soest, June 10, 2025: The new version of aagon's client management solution acmp presents itself with numerous impressive innovations. Under the motto \"Better together\", acmp 6.8 offers comprehensive features that enable the connectivity of different IT infrastructures and thus significantly optimize IT administration. Whether clients, servers or mobile devices - the new acmp Intune Management links and manages both cloud and stationary IT infrastructures, connecting the two worlds under a single interface. <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

The highlight of the brand new version is called <\/span>acmp Intune Management<\/strong>. This module integrates Microsoft Intune, the well-known and widely used cloud-based solution for endpoint management, into the acmp Suite - supplemented by essential functions that IT managers miss with MS Intune. The result is a hybrid platform that combines the best features of both worlds. This enables uniform, efficient and secure management of the entire IT infrastructure - both on-premises and cloud devices - via an acmp Console. Thanks to the hybrid strategy, device and user groups are <\/span>from the cloud solution to the on-premises UEM<\/strong> <\/span>and are visible in it. Even iOS and Android devices, which the UEM would otherwise only inventory, can be managed in much greater detail. <\/p>\n

While MS Intune provides effective management for predominantly mobile devices, acmp extends these capabilities to the entire IT infrastructure, including clients, servers and other IT components. The integration of MS Intune into acmp in a standardized interface allows the <\/span>centralized control of all end devices<\/strong>. And if required, multiple instances of MS Intune can even be integrated. <\/p>\n

Hybrid UEM strategy ensures the highest level of security for corporate IT<\/strong><\/p>\n

This allows companies to implement a hybrid UEM strategy via both the cloud (Intune) and the stationary infrastructure (acmp). They no longer have to compromise when it comes to security, efficiency or flexibility. Thanks to simplified, holistic management, automated processes and a high level of security in end device management, hybrid UEM makes an important contribution to a future-oriented IT infrastructure. <\/p>\n

acmp 6.8 is also completely <\/span>compatible with the Microsoft Azure DB<\/strong>. The database of the acmp Server can be operated in the Azure Cloud - so you do not need your own server infrastructure. <\/p>\n

Further new features of acmp 6.8 at a glance<\/strong><\/p>\n

The second major expansion was the <\/span>CAWUM, which stands for Complete aagon Windows Update Management<\/strong> <\/span>and is an excellent alternative to Microsoft's WSUS (Windows Server Update Services), which was discontinued at the end of Windows Server 2025 anyway. Like WSUS, CAWUM ensures regular patch and update management of the operating system, but - unlike WSUS - only applies the update files that the system actually needs. In addition to other intelligent enhancements such as release processes and time-based and granular control of patches, the new version now also offers driver updates from third-party catalogs, which can also be distributed via the test and release processes. The drivers from the manufacturers Dell, Lenovo and HP are among the first updates available via CAWUM, with more to follow. <\/p>\n

Another interesting feature of the acmp Desktop Automation module is the acmp Unix Script Management, which - like many other innovations - was developed in close consultation with aagon customers. The new version makes it possible, <\/span>Scripts also on Unix-based environments (e.g. Linux and Mac)<\/strong> <\/span>to start the software installation, for example. The familiar acmp features such as test and release processes and the time-controlled distribution of Unix scripts are now also included in the scope of services. <\/p>\n
