Client management at its best<\/strong><\/p>\n

Soest, March 12, 2019:<\/strong> <\/span>One feature is at the top of aagon customers' wish list of new functions for the client management solution: multi-client capability. This coveted feature is now being comprehensively implemented with version acmp 5.4.2. The Soest-based software company is thus once again demonstrating what is state of the art in the field of client management and client automation. <\/p>\n

The brand-new acmp 5.4.2 is characterized by two major innovations: a significant <\/span>Improved vulnerability management and multi-client capability<\/strong>, which means that access rights can now be assigned to specific clients and servers and administrators can only see the devices for which they have authorization. acmp now allows clients - e.g. branches or departments - and client groups to be created and the corresponding clients, servers and users to be assigned to them. Depending on the authorization, the administrator can log in to one or more clients and take over IT administration. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Another highlight of acmp 5.4.2 is the <\/span>ultra-fast vulnerability scan<\/strong>. While the previous scanning process - for example, of an unpatched Windows 7 environment - was <\/span>95 minutes<\/strong> <\/span>this work step only takes a few minutes. <\/span>eight seconds<\/strong>! This significant improvement is made possible by a new type of scan tool - developed by the aagon experts. To make it easier for IT administrators to find the culprit, the scan evaluation has also been optimized: This is because the acmp Console now clearly shows on which file path and in which file the vulnerability is located. <\/p>\n

The <\/span>Avira virus scan<\/strong>, which can be scheduled in advance and set individually for each client so that it starts every Friday at 12 noon, for example, has also been improved.<\/p>\n

Another interesting innovation: the <\/span>S.M.A.R.T. data<\/strong> <\/span>- S.M.A.R.T stands for System for Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Status Reporting - acmp now reads out complete data from hard disks and makes it available in the inventory management. Here, the IT administrator can see at a glance what condition the hard disks are in and whether an HDD failure is imminent. <\/p>\n
