Release Notes 6.8.3
With this bug fix release of ACMP, we aim to meet our quality standards and ensure a smooth workflow for you.
ACMP Agent
In the previous version, in rare cases, the complete reinstallation of an ACMP agent could fail if the ACMP server was not immediately and permanently accessible and it was necessary to repeat the installation several times. This error has now been fixed.
ACMP Desktop Automation
Due to a permission adjustment in OS deployment, client commands for in-place upgrades could no longer be executed without errors. This release fixes the error and the client commands are working as expected again.
ACMP OS Deployment
When multi-tenancy was enabled, clients might not have been assigned during a rollout. Error handling has been improved and now resolves this issue.
ACMP SQL Compatibility
During ACMP updates, the ACMP server checks Microsoft SQL Server for compatibility and refuses to install updates if the necessary compatibility is not present. Furthermore, the ACMP database instance is automatically set to the highest possible compatibility level of the Microsoft SQL Server used.
This adjustment function did not work in a previous release, which led to restrictions in ACMP CAWUM, for example. Windows updates could not be refused in this case.
With this release, the compatibility level is corrected as necessary and the functions work as intended again.
