Release Notes 6.8.4
With this bug fix release of ACMP, we aim to meet our quality standards and ensure a smooth workflow for you.
ACMP in general
The existing filters for queries, reports, and containers have been expanded to include locations, departments, and cost centers. At the same time, the recognition mechanism for the upcoming Windows 11 Build 25H2 has also been ensured.
ACMP Agent
Previously, the agent went into full production mode regardless of any error handling during startup, which could lead to communication errors with the ACMP server, among other things. The startup behavior has been adjusted for consistent performance.
ACMP Bitlocker Management
Previously, only UEFI-booting systems (and at least TPM 1.2) were supported by ACMP BitLocker Management. This has now been extended to BIOS-booting systems with the necessary minimum requirements of TPM 1.2.
ACMP Container
Another DisplayField has been added to the filter table for containers to better take into account the membership of clients in other containers. Filtering via the container ID has also improved performance. Due to the complexity of the filtering, wildcard filtering is not supported.
Furthermore, a bug has been fixed that prevented the correct clients from being transferred from the preview to the container.
ACMP CAWUM
During an OS rollout, third-party updates were not automatically installed. This behavior was not anticipated. With the patch, third-party updates are now taken into account and installed during the rollout.
In the update classification, third-party updates were sometimes not correctly taken into account and deleted too early by the cleanup job during the rest of the process. The process has been adjusted to keep the third-party updates in the update collection.
Components to be updated
No further components need to be updated.
