Release Notes 6.4.2
ACMP is continuously developed with the highest quality standards, therefore you will receive this update with bug fixes and minor improvements before the next, major feature release ACMP 6.5 in the middle of the year.
ACMP Reports
Microsoft Windows 11 is set to be the next big operating system migration project in enterprises. Thanks to the adaptation of our integrated reports, we now offer you the possibility to check the Windows 11 capability of your clients.
This gives you a quick and centralized overview of how comprehensively you need to plan the project and allows you to check which support options ACMP offers you in doing so.
ACMP Vulnerability Management
ACMP vulnerability management has been updated with this release. The Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) version 3.0 score is now always used for vulnerabilities, if available.
A key difference between CVSS v3.0 and CVSS v2.0 is the finer gradation of severity. With CVSS v3.0, vulnerabilities with a score of 9.0 to 10.0 are classified as critical.
ACMP Helpdesk - Mail Service
The mail service could experience display problems when importing new e-mails if the mail was received in ISO-8859-1 encoding and NTLM or SMIME was used. Messages in this constellation are now processed without display problems.
ACMP Agent
In case of an overlap of pushed jobs and a stopped ACMP agent, it could happen that the agent did not execute any scheduled tasks afterwards until a restart. This problem has been fixed and thus a smooth and continuous workflow is ensured.
ACMP Job Collections
The variable transfer for client commands from the console script to the client script has been revised so that the variables can now also be transferred from the console script to the respective client script for job collections.
ACMP Client Commands
Running client commands on Windows 11 22H2 in conjunction with the MSI commands could cause subsequent commands impersonated as users to fail.
This problem, which was due to a behavioral change in Microsoft Windows 11 22H2, could be fixed in this patch.
Linux & Mac Agent
The Linux & Mac agent was previously associated with some hurdles and system requirements that made it difficult to use efficiently. After the technical revision, this is now completely renewed and is now an integral part in the further development.
From now on, you can deploy and install the agent using a supplied client command without Python. The inventory data is completely transmitted to the ACMP server and updated.
In the future, Linux & Mac agent distribution will also be possible without Client Command and will work via the usual agent scheduler. Further developments will be announced regularly as usual.
All you need on the clients is a user with sudo permission and an SSH & sFTP connection. Based on this you can inventory Linux & Mac devices running on arm, arm64, x64, osx-arm64 or osx-x64.
AESB Release Notes 1.7.0
The AESB 1.7 has already been available for the ACMP App 2.0 on demand, this is especially necessary for the file transfer to the ACMP App.
Apart from the fact that this is required for using the ACMP App 2.0, it is also the basis for using the new Linux & Mac agent.
However, the version that is now available to all customers includes significantly more features and improvements.
Thus, the possibility to connect a webhook and thus create individual links for data & application integrations is now integrated.
The convenience of the AESB Console has been improved with some minor features. For example, it is possible to uninstall products with the linked references such as microservices and workflows bundled or to display them.
The transparency of adjustments in workflows has also been increased, as a change history has been integrated and it is possible to independently restore an executable version.
The AESB Console dashboard has gained another widget that displays active connections and components such as workflows and microservices.
14 additional device types have been added to the SNMP Adapter, providing increased value for ACMP asset management.
Finally, some minor bug fixes and performance improvements were made throughout the AESB.
Components to be updated
The AESB must be updated separately following the ACMP update.
The necessary updater resources for the AESB, can be found after the ACMP update in the ACMP server directory under Installers\AESB\.
