MS SQL Database Specialist

As a database specialist, you will be involved in the following processes and tasks:

• Analyzing, designing, and optimizing the database level in a distributed IT solution

• Error analysis and troubleshooting with a focus on databases

• Creating load and scaling tests

• Supporting quality assurance in the creation of test cases and in the assessment of detected malfunctions

• Supporting the Support department in the third level area

• Many years of experience in designing relational databases, especially in the environment of MS SQL Server

• Experienced in query creation and analysis

• Deep knowledge of the internals of MS SQL Server

• Ideally, you should have further knowledge in the following areas:

  • MS Data Tools

  • MS SQL Report Services

• Degree in computer science or business informatics, vocational training, or comparable qualification

• Ability to work in a team, analytical thinking skills, and initiative
