Compliance with accessibility requirements
The following accessibility requirements have already been taken into account and successfully implemented in the design and development of this website:
- Keyboard operation: The website can be controlled entirely via the keyboard, so that even people who cannot use a mouse can operate it without any problems.
- Screen reader compatibility: The website uses a correct heading structure and meaningful ALT texts so that screen readers can interpret them. This means that this information is also available to users with visual impairments.
- Contrast: Texts and graphics have sufficient contrast to the background, which improves readability for people with visual impairments.
- Comprehensible language: The website uses clear and simple language, short sentences and comprehensible expressions.

Market surveillance authority
The federal states have agreed to set up a joint market surveillance authority to implement the Accessibility Reinforcement Act. The basis for this is a state treaty that provides for the establishment of a central authority based in Saxony-Anhalt. The authority - expected to be called the "Market Surveillance Authority of the Federal States for the Accessibility of Products and Services" - will be responsible for monitoring accessible products and services in future. The state treaty still has to be ratified by the federal states before it can begin its work. As soon as ratification is complete, the details of the market surveillance authority will automatically be included in the accessibility declaration.
