For over 30 years, aagon has been developing solutions for Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) and automating IT operational processes. We specialize in the centralized management, security, and standardization of heterogeneous IT endpoints, thereby addressing the requirements of modern, increasingly regulated IT environments.
True to our guiding principle, “Every feature has a reason,” we develop features that are consistently derived from the real-world needs of IT departments—practical, well-thought-out, and sustainable. Founded in 1992 in Soest (North Rhine-Westphalia), aagon stands for software “Made in Germany,” personalized support, and close collaboration with customers and partners. This philosophy shapes the development of the UEM Suite acmp, which is now one of the leading solutions on the European market.
The right IT solution for every business
In 1992, the former partners and managing directors Sascha Häckel and Wilko Frenzel joined forces and initially formed aagon Network and Communication Services out of an interest in communication networking via the Internet, which was still in its infancy at the time. Due to rapidly increasing demand and the need to secure liability and growth, the previously hobby-based project became aagon Network and Services GmbH four years later.
We're breaking new ground in unified endpoint management
In response, aagon developed ACK—Europe’s first menu-driven, automated operating system installation—as early as 1998, which was soon replaced by the more powerful OSD, thereby revolutionizing the field of software distribution solutions. The next milestone, the Unified Endpoint Management Platform (acmp), has been continuously refined and now includes over 20 modules that make it easier for IT administrators at thousands of companies throughout Germany, Austria, and Switzerland to maintain and secure their company’s IT landscape—all in a centralized and automated manner.
Into the future with new strength
At the beginning of 2025, aagon opened another significant chapter in its corporate history: With the entry of the renowned financial investor Genui, a solid foundation was laid to further accelerate growth, innovation, and long-term strategic development. At the same time, a new management team took the helm of the company, with Jürgen Vogler serving as CEO. Together with the entire aagon team, they are continuing the company’s success story—determined to further expand its leading role in Unified Endpoint Management and to continue supporting companies in the DACH region with intelligent, secure, and high-performance software solutions.
Success through collaboration
As an innovative and responsible employer, Aagon GmbH works closely with universities in the region and contributes to the training of young professionals. Since 2001, the company has been offering specialist training as a recognized training company and has been honored several times by the responsible Chamber of Industry and Commerce for its merits in promoting young talent.

Few terms stand for the strength of the German economy as much as "Mittelstand". In recent decades, the German Mittelstand has successfully established itself as a global "brand". As a report by the World Economic Forum shows, this also includes many "hidden champions", i.e. global market leaders that are relatively unknown.
