Client automation training

Training objective

In this course you will learn how to use acmp with a focus on client automation. We will look at the client command list apart from software distribution and patch management. We will use the containers and other distribution options to automate tedious routine tasks.

Target group

The training is aimed at people who want to automate tasks in their network with acmp and would like to deepen their knowledge of client commands.

• Client Command Editor and execution options
• LDAP commands (queries to the AD)
• Saving AD information
• acmp functions (command blocks)
• WMI queries and console script examples
• Use of SQL in client commands
• Automation of processes
• Introduction and Examples Using the Form Editor
• Open questions and troubleshooting

Prerequisites

• Knowledge of current Microsoft Windows client operating systems and basic knowledge of the Microsoft Windows Server environment are recommended for participation.
• In addition, knowledge of the topics covered in the acmp Advanced Administration Training for Queries and Containers is required, as well as the topics covered in the Software Distribution and Patch Management training regarding client commands.
• For the online training, communication takes place via Microsoft Teams.
• For online training, you can connect to our online training environment via RDP or your acmp environment.
