aagon Appoints Sven Häckel as Head of Sales

Following the successful relaunch of its channel program, the UEM manufacturer is relying on continuity, market knowledge, and the ability to execute—all drawn from within its own ranks—to shape its next phase of growth.

Soest, July 21, 2026: Aagon GmbH has appointed Sven Häckel as Head of Sales (HoS). In his new role, the long-time Aagon employee will be responsible for Direct Sales, Channel Sales, Consulting, and Sales Support. A particular focus will be on further expanding the partner business and implementing the recently announced corporate strategy through sales. Häckel will thus play a central role in firmly establishing and expanding Aagon’s position in the market as a reliable partner for IT decision-makers and the channel.

With Häckel, the role of sales manager is being taken on by someone who has been with Aagon for 26 years in various roles and has played a key role in shaping the company’s development. His long tenure is seen as a significant advantage for the company’s current phase of transformation and growth.

“Aagon is in an exciting phase of development. Thanks to my extensive experience with the company, I can build directly on existing structures while also bringing new ideas to the table,” says Sven Häckel. “I’m particularly focused on the synergy between direct sales and channel sales. Together with our partners, we aim to tap into new market potential for our successful UEM solution, ACMP, sustainably expand our channel business, and offer our customers additional value.”

His agenda centers on further developing the sales organization, strengthening the integration of the individual sales-related departments, and consistently aligning efforts with Aagon’s strategic growth goals. These include a stronger industry focus and even closer collaboration between Sales, Consulting, and Sales Support. The goal is to make the implementation of Unified Endpoint Management and IT security projects even easier and more successful for customers and partners. At the same time, consulting—as a key success factor—will be more closely integrated into customer and partner support to further expand knowledge transfer, training, and sustainable project success.

The key factors: experience, credibility, and close ties to Aagon's partners

Häckel’s appointment also embodies the values that Aagon has recently emphasized more strongly through its new brand identity: reliability, personal collaboration, partnership on equal terms, and solutions with genuine practical relevance. Under its new brand slogan, “Every feature has a reason,” Aagon positions itself as a reliable partner for IT decision-makers and the channel in the DACH region—one that embodies and puts into practice key concepts such as “Software made in Germany” and “digital sovereignty.”

“Sven Häckel was our ideal choice for this key position,” explains Jürgen Vogler, CEO of Aagon. “Filling this role internally allows us to move quickly in implementing our growth and channel strategy. Sven has known our customers, our partners, and our organization for many years. This deep understanding of our company, combined with his sales and market experience as well as his innovative and strategic vision, enables him to drive change quickly while preserving the values that define Aagon.”

What Häckel particularly appreciates about his new role are the short decision-making processes, the close collaboration with all divisions of the company, and the opportunity to actively help shape Aagon’s future.
