The Soest-based software company continues to grow: 240 new customers and a significant increase in annual sales in the past financial year represent a successful start to the new season

Soest, January 30, 2025: Despite the generally negative economic outlook, Soest-based client management specialist aagon continues its extremely positive business performance, thereby confirming its clear focus on automation and security in the UEM (Unified Endpoint Management) sector. The recipe for success of the company’s founders, Sascha Häckel and Wilko Frenzel—which they implement together with their skilled and dedicated team—is this: always stay close to the customer and develop tailor-made solutions that enable customers to optimize their business and overcome current challenges.

“The significant increase in revenue of just under nine percent to over 20 million euros in the 2024 fiscal year far exceeded our expectations,” said Wilko Frenzel and Sascha Häckel, the two founders and managing directors of aagon GmbH. “We address the ongoing demands on corporate IT—such as NIS-2 and its new cybersecurity requirements—and are constantly expanding our UEM portfolio. This includes updates to the acmp Suite as well as feedback from our customers,” emphasizes Sascha Häckel, adding: “Analysts and the development team also greatly appreciate this customer focus. This is where the advantage of software ‘Made in Germany’ really shines through.”

Among this year’s new products from aagon is a completely new Intune module designed as an extension for Microsoft Intune. Under aagon’s slogan “Better together,” a software tool is currently being developed that allows customers to integrate multiple Intune portals into acmp, manage them conveniently, and consolidate them into a powerful UEM solution. Together with the successful security modules acmp BitLocker and Defender Management, as well as CAWUM (Complete aagon Windows Update Management) and Third Party Patch Management (Managed Software), aagon ensures a high degree of automation in IT management and frees up resources for customers—for example, for business planning or the implementation of new processes. At the same time, innovative automation of routine tasks relieves the IT department, even during staffing shortages.

Significant expansion of cooperation with specialist retailers

Specialty retailers and system integrators, as expert partners, are a crucial factor in aagon’s success. In recent years, the share of partner business has increased significantly, and the trend remains very positive. An expanded channel team that supports partners, a comprehensive training program, and targeted marketing campaigns help attract new resellers and increase their sales.

“We currently have a new product in development that we expect to launch this year alongside the acmp Suite,” explains Wilko Frenzel. “And our new product offers our dealers, in particular, excellent opportunities to boost their sales through expanded services.”

High customer satisfaction is reflected in the renewal rate

The software company aagon is one of the market leaders in the field of client management and client automation. With the acmp Suite—entirely Made in Germany—and its broad portfolio of high-performance modules, every customer receives personalized support. The high level of customer satisfaction is a clear indication of aagon’s success with its software. In recent years, more than 99 percent of customers have renewed their aagon licenses each year.
