Sneaker administration is a thing of the past: fully automated updates thanks to acmp

Challenges

Amecke used a Microsoft-heavy IT infrastructure with Hyper-V virtualized servers. Updates were distributed from the WSUS server and programs were updated via login scripts or group policies. Nevertheless, there were always rights problems when updating programs such as Java, which involved a great deal of manual effort.

The solution with the acmp Suite

The result

acmp has replaced all previous scripts for distributing and correcting software at Amecke since 2015. Client commands are used to independently automate administrative tasks in the network. The acmp Suite also allows registry entries to be adjusted and fonts to be assigned, for example.
