Release Notes for acmp 6.10.2
With this bugfix release from acmp, we want to live up to our quality standards and guarantee you a smooth workflow.
acmp Agent
In some environments, under acmp 6.10.x, the acmp Agent icon would occasionally stop appearing in the system tray after several Windows restarts. Among other things, this made it difficult to access the acmp Kiosk directly. This issue has been resolved.
acmp WUM - Windows Update Management
The recommendations for selecting third-party devices have been optimized. Device suggestions are now determined more precisely, so that only relevant results are displayed.
Under certain circumstances, third-party updates that had previously been rejected might not be able to be downloaded again. This issue has been resolved.
Ticket Management
In certain situations, emails that had already been processed might be reloaded during an IMAP retrieval. This has been corrected.
acmp security
The OpenSSL version has been updated to 3.5.7 to ensure the security of data transmission over the long term. The boot images in OS Deployment must be rebuilt so that the OpenSSL version within the images is updated.
Global User Accounts
The handling of global accounts with restricted visibility has been revised. Accounts that are not visible to certain users are now correctly taken into account when saving.
Unix Agent
acmp 6.10.2 includes the Unix Agent, version 1.14.0.
Updated components
After the acmp update, the following components must be updated separately: The acmp gateway, the Network Boot Service, the Unix Agent, and the Unix Offline Scanner.
Discontinuation
With each new version of acmp, individual features, modules, or components may be marked as deprecated, discontinued, or replaced by successors. To provide you with transparency early on and help you plan any necessary adjustments, we are now making the Product Lifecycle Overview .
Changelog
Further details on the corrected and improved points can be found in our changelog.
