Central client administration and efficient update management - without WSUS
Challenges
Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) offered POCO too few options for managing individual clients and often overloaded the company's management with large amounts of data. POCO was therefore looking for a solution that would enable more efficient update management and client-specific software distribution.

The solution with the acmp Suite
- Daily Microsoft updates independent of WSUS with aagon Windows Update Management
- Easily manage administrative tasks on server and client systems with Client Commands
- Automated update and patch management for third-party software with Managed Software
The result
The acmp Suite enables POCO's IT department to centrally manage the company's 450 servers and 2,800 clients. The previously used WSUS server could thus be switched off. In addition, the team automated routine tasks and settings with more than 100 client commands in a very short space of time.

Poco Einrichtungsmärkte GmbH is a German furniture discounter with 125 furniture stores and four regional warehouses. The company merged with the former Domäne-Einrichtungsmärkte stores in 2008. There are therefore two head offices responsible for managing the stores - the former Poco head office in Bergkamen and the former Domäne head office in Hardegsen.
