Successful Windows 7 migration as the starting signal for many years of cooperation

Challenges

In 2011, it was time for Sinn Spezialuhren to replace the now outdated Windows XP client operating system on its PC workstations with the modern 64-bit version of Windows 7. In order to make the migration of its 65 or so PCs and notebooks as smooth as possible, the watch manufacturer was therefore looking for a way to automate the switch to the new Windows version as far as possible.

The result

The Windows migration project with acmp OS Deployment was a complete success for Sinn Spezialuhren. Thanks to the experience and expert advice of the aagon consultants, it was also possible to optimize other IT administration processes and integrate reporting. Based on the positive experience, Sinn also decided to integrate further acmp modules from the areas of Security, Manage & Deploy and Inventory.
