IT security and compliance are key requirements for companies of all sizes today. In the face of increasing cyber threats and strict legal requirements, IT teams are under growing pressure: security gaps must be identified and closed more quickly in order to minimize risks to systems and data. At the same time, companies must be able to prove their compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations at all times. A structured, transparent and continuously monitored IT security strategy therefore forms the basis for reliable and compliant IT operations.

More security with automated processes

The IT security concept SOAR (Security Orchestration Automation Response) offers effective protection against cybercrime. With automation options, vulnerabilities and gateways are detected and closed at an early stage and administrative tasks that arise during the implementation of security measures are managed efficiently and effectively using a combination of various security tools and programs from the acmp environment.

SOAR security strategies can be customized despite having the same basis. At aagon, the focus is on the continuous collection and analysis of information on potential threats in order to provide companies with an up-to-date view of the digital threat situation at all times and to protect them in the best possible way.

Vulnerability management

Many outdated programs, security gaps and incorrect configurations allow hackers and fraudsters to exploit IT vulnerabilities in companies. An intelligent IT solution allows administrators to monitor vulnerabilities. If it finds a vulnerability, automatic actions can be taken to respond to the security gap in good time before it becomes a real problem. This protects you from threats and gives you more control over your IT security.

Patch Management

Software programs are no longer static products. Nowadays, new updates, patches and upgrades are released practically every day to close security gaps and improve functions. Do you know exactly which patches are available for your clients, which have already been installed and which are still missing? Do you know the patch status of every single computer in your network? In most companies, the answer is no. You cannot leave patch management to the user. Not only would you have to give your users local admin rights, you would also have to trust that your users will notice all updates independently and always install them promptly.

Gateway

With our gateway, you can create a secure connection between the acmp server and the agents via the Internet - even for clients of your employees in the home office. The gateway checks whether an agent logs in with a valid certificate and then forwards the data stream to the acmp server. The gateway accepts requests from acmp agents that authenticate themselves using client certificates issued by the administrator. These client certificates are based on the acmp server's client authority certificate. This authentication ensures that only your own agents can log in via TLS. In addition, the authentication itself does not take place on the acmp server, but on the gateway.

Manage Windows Defender settings centrally

Microsoft Defender Antivirus is licensed and installed as standard on computers in the corporate network under Windows 10. The Magdeburg-based testing institute AV-Test examined Windows Defender in the fall of 2020 and certified it as a "Top Product" with top marks. Windows Defender hardly affects the speed of the computer in daily use and detects 100% of the widespread malware of the last four weeks in the test.
Thanks to its seamless integration, it is already installed and runs in the background.

Despite this, companies have hardly ever used Windows Defender as an antivirus solution for their network - even though licensing has already taken place.
However, malware protection could not previously be managed centrally via the on-board tools. Microsoft used Endpoint Manager or Intune for this purpose - a cumbersome solution that only makes IT work more difficult for many companies. In addition, reporting is not easily possible. For example, there is no insight into where which malware was found.

Green IT for companies

Every year, companies literally burn through several thousand euros when PCs, printers and other electronic devices are in standby mode or are unnecessarily left on overnight. Do you want to run a successful business and protect the environment at the same time? Companies that invest in green IT not only save money, but also make a significant contribution to environmental protection!

The low-wattage ranges of modern devices also add up over the year and represent a non-negligible item in your company's budget. The Premium Client Command Green IT is now exclusively available for aagon customers through acmp Desktop Automation. Save up to 45 percent of your energy costs.
