acmp 6.9: more security, more control and more resilience for hybrid IT landscapes

Soest, January 7, 2026: Just six months after the last release, aagon presents the new version of its UEM platform. acmp 6.9 is based on the motto "Always on. Secure. Resilient" and brings decisive improvements for IT security, system stability and compliance. With new functions and extended management tools, the solution specifically addresses the requirements of modern, hybrid IT infrastructures.

With the publication of acmp 6.9 aagon is continuing its consistent further development of the Unified Endpoint Management platform. The new version is based on the guiding principle "Always on. Secure. Resilient" and addresses the central challenges of today's IT landscapes: security, stability and rapid recoverability in the event of an emergency.

"With acmp 6.9, we support IT administrators in actively minimizing risks, managing systems in a controlled manner and quickly returning to stable operations in the event of an emergency," explains Sebastian Weber, Chief Evangelist at aagon. The platform offers tools for the early detection of new threats and the implementation of regulatory requirements such as the NIS 2 directive.

acmp 6.8 already bridged the gap between cloud and on-premises environments. acmp 6.9 further expands this hybrid approach and enables companies to react flexibly and securely to constantly increasing requirements.

The most important new features at a glance:

  • acmp maintenance window:
A new function in the acmp core that serves as a safety net against unintentional job executions in critical or highly available environments. It protects clients and systems from application errors and increases availability.
  • Enhancements in OS deployment:
The support of boot templates enables the secure deletion of WinPE-based clients as well as the rudimentary provision of Unix-based boot images via PXE - particularly valuable in emergency scenarios in which systems have to be started up independently and securely.
  • Optimized vulnerability management:
Improved usability, new ways of displaying vulnerability exclusions and vulnerability history increase transparency and compliance. The central overview of all vulnerabilities - regardless of their current status - supports strategic security planning.

Further improvements:

  • Installation of the acmp server on Microsoft Azure
  • Refined filter options in acmp CAWUM
  • Rebuild of boot images in acmp OS Deployment
  • UUID as new identification feature in default
