Soest, January 7, 2026: Just half a year after its last release, aagon is introducing the new version of its UEM platform. acmp 6.9 is launched under the motto “Always on. Secure. Resilient” and delivers significant improvements in IT security, system stability, and compliance. With new features and enhanced management tools, the solution is specifically designed to meet the requirements of modern, hybrid IT infrastructures.
With the publication of acmp 6.9 aagon continues its consistent development of the Unified Endpoint Management platform. The new version is guided by the motto “Always on. Secure. Resilient” and addresses key challenges in today’s IT landscapes: security, stability, and rapid recovery in the event of an emergency.
“With acmp 6.9, we help IT administrators actively minimize risks, manage systems in a controlled manner, and quickly return to stable operations in the event of an emergency,” explains Sebastian Weber, Chief Evangelist at aagon. The platform offers tools for the early detection of new threats and for implementing regulatory requirements such as the NIS 2 Directive.
acmp 6.8 had already bridged the gap between cloud and on-premises environments. acmp 6.9 further expands this hybrid approach, enabling companies to respond flexibly and securely to ever-increasing demands.
The most important new features at a glance:
- acmp Maintenance Window:
A new feature in acmp Core that serves as a safety net against unintended job executions in critical or high-availability environments. It protects clients and systems from application errors and increases availability. - Enhancements in OS deployment:
The support of boot templates enables the secure deletion of WinPE-based clients as well as the rudimentary provision of Unix-based boot images via PXE - particularly valuable in emergency scenarios in which systems have to be started up independently and securely. - Optimized vulnerability management:
Improved usability, new ways of displaying vulnerability exclusions and vulnerability history increase transparency and compliance. The central overview of all vulnerabilities - regardless of their current status - supports strategic security planning.
