Vulnerabilities under control: modern endpoint security for a secure future

Soest, March 10, 2026: The secIT congress trade fair is taking place in Hanover for the eighth time - and the number of exhibitors is growing from year to year. Almost 170 well-known IT companies will be presenting their latest IT security solutions this spring. In addition, top speakers invite you to top-class presentations and workshops on security-related topics. Among them are the experts from aagon (Eilenriedehalle, stand no. E49), who will explain how IT administration can be secured and automated with unified endpoint management systems.

Under the motto "meet. learn. protect." meet from March 18 to 19 international security experts at the secIT congress trade fair in Hanover. For several years now, secIT in Hanover has been one of the most important trade fairs for IT security officers, data center managers, network administrators and decision-makers in security issues. And the demand for reliable solutions that guarantee the security of business-critical data is huge. This is because new security vulnerabilities emerge every day, requiring corresponding actions and patches. In view of these challenges, it is impossible for the administration department to keep all the computers in their company up to date and secure manually. Automated IT management is therefore becoming increasingly relevant.

Invitation to a free deep dive by the aagon expert

In practice, modern IT security concepts rarely fail due to a lack of strategies, but rather due to a lack of transparency, inconsistent processes and a high level of manual effort in day-to-day business. This is precisely where targeted Unified Endpoint Management comes in. In his deep dive, aagon's Chief Evangelist Sebastian Weber uses acmp (aagon Client Management Platform) to demonstrate how IT security in the endpoint environment can be implemented securely, visibly and manageably - without additional tool complexity or operational overload for administrators. The focus is on real requirements from everyday IT life: current patch status, reduced attack surfaces, traceable compliance and centralized control over all endpoints. In his article, Sebastian Weber clearly shows how time and costs can be saved through the perfect interplay of client management and security solutions. The free deep dive "Secure. Visible. Controllable. How targeted unified endpoint management really takes the pressure off administrators", which Sebastian Weber will be attending on March 18 at 2.30 p.m. in Workshop Room 17 will provide valuable information on this topic.

The focus of the deep dive is clearly on practice. The aagon expert will demonstrate typical security-relevant use cases live in acmp. Among them: - Transparency of hardware and software as a basis for security decisions - Automated patch and update management to reduce known vulnerabilities - Enforcement of secure configurations and standards - Support of compliance and audit requirements (e.g. in the context of NIS-2) - Relief of administrators through automation and central control.

Participants gain a realistic insight into how UEM can be used as an operational security tool. Not as a theoretical concept, but as a concretely usable platform in daily operations. The Deep Dive is aimed at administrators and IT managers who want to implement IT security pragmatically and value efficiency, control and sustainability.
