Soest, 10.10.2025: aagon reorganizes its management. On October 9, 2025, Jürgen Vogler will take over as the new CEO of the software company. The shareholders are thus securing the successful succession of the company, which was founded in 1992, and setting the course for further growth. The two founders Wilko Frenzel and Sascha Häckel are withdrawing from the operational business.

The founders already initiated the succession process for the company under company law in January 2025. The reorganization of the management is now the next step to create a sustainable and stable basis for the implementation of the further growth strategy.
Jürgen Vogler explains: "Wilko Frenzel and Sascha Häckel have built a very successful company. aagon's development over the past decades speaks for itself. The clear focus on innovation in line with customer needs, outstanding service and the high compliance and security standards with the "Software Made in Germany" seal of quality make aagon a European champion in the field of Unified Endpoint Management. I am very much looking forward to the task of continuing the previous growth course with this successful formula and at the same time bringing new impetus to the company."
Jürgen Vogler was most recently a partner at msg security advisors, the cyber security business of international consultancy msg systems ag. In addition to decades of experience in the field of security-related software and IT services, he also has extensive experience as a managing director, most recently at a leading IT security and data protection company.
In times of artificial intelligence, the rapidly growing number of endpoints to be managed and the increasing risk of security breaches and cyber attacks, aagon continues to focus on developing products that address these specific customer needs. "Our customers can continue to rely on innovative solutions - such as acmp Intune Management - paired with the usual product reliability and high service standards," continues Jürgen Vogler. In addition to the existing business, international activities and relationships with partners are also to be expanded.
"Jürgen Vogler has exactly the right skills to lead aagon into the next phase of growth," says Klaus Weinmann, founder of Cancom SE and Chairman of aagon's Advisory Board. "For fast-growing, innovative companies like aagon, it is essential to implement succession in good time in order to provide the right impetus for sustainable successful development. The fact that Wilko Frenzel and Sascha Häckel have taken this step creates a solid foundation for the coming decades."
