Product Manager (m/f/d)
acmp is Aagon’s UEM product and is used by approximately 2,800 customers in the DACH region. Its capabilities range from patch and vulnerability management to software packaging and help desk support, as well as OS deployment, BitLocker management, and Intune integration. As a Product Manager, you’ll maintain an overview of the overall strategy across all modules while also working in-depth on individual features. Growing regulatory requirements for IT security, rising customer expectations for automation and autonomy, and the use of AI in product development itself are among the topics that will shape your work in the coming years.
Here's what you can expect from us:
- You will develop the product vision and roadmap for acmp, making decisions even when not all parameters have been finalized.
- You will analyze the market and competition in the area of client and endpoint management and identify specific product opportunities based on that analysis.
- You prioritize the product backlog based on customer feedback, market requirements, and methods such as RICE.
- You'll write feature specifications from the initial idea through to go-to-market and support the implementation through engineering and requirements engineering.
- You facilitate decisions between Sales, Marketing, and Engineering and document them so that everyone involved can build on them.
- After the launch, you'll evaluate the impact of your features and use that information to determine the next steps.
What you'll bring to the table:
- A completed degree or vocational training in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or a comparable qualification.
- At least three years of experience in product management, ideally with B2B software in the IT sector
- Practical experience with agile methods: You know where Scrum, Kanban, discovery methods, and design thinking are truly helpful—and where they aren't.
- Proficiency in using Productboard, Jira, or similar tools.
- Technical understanding of endpoint management—such as patch deployment, software distribution, or update management—or the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with these topics.
- Ability to present complex requirements in a way that is understandable to various stakeholders.
- An understanding of where AI is useful in product management itself—for example, in market analysis, prioritization, or specification work—and an instinct for where AI features provide real value to customers and where they do not.
