General:

With acmp 6.0.3, new starting conditions have been introduced in acmp:

  • On shutdown - but only in a specific time window:
Here you can define that a job is executed on shutdown, but only if the shutdown takes place between 16:00 and 17:00, for example.
  • Start interval in a specific time window:
A job can be executed regularly, e.g. every two hours, but this should not take place between 08:00 and 15:00.
  • Extended start condition - day of the week:
This start condition is used to map the classic patchday, e.g. every third Tuesday of the month. This condition can also be linked to other start conditions such as the time.
  • Date interval:
This start condition allows you to run a job monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually. You can also choose between the first or last day of the respective period. The old start condition "Last day of the month" will no longer apply in future and can be mapped using the "Date interval" start condition.
  • Random time within a time window:
It is now possible to start job executions randomly within a time window. This makes it easier to distribute the network load for acmp scanners or large jobs.
  • Wake On Lan in waves:
For jobs with "Wake On Lan", it is now possible to wake up only a certain percentage of computers per interval.
