Full control over 900 clients in everyday clinical practice with the acmp Suite

Challenges

Automatic software distribution is a must for the 900 clients at Rheinland Klinikum. The old client management solution was no longer usable from Windows 7 onwards. Frank Außen and his IT team were therefore looking for a new tool with intuitive query management and a powerful scripting engine

The result

The acmp Suite performs numerous automated tasks for the IT department at Rheinland Klinikum, saving a lot of time. Recently, for example, the Firefox browser had to be updated to the latest version, which would have taken around 60 hours "manually" for 600 affected computers. With acmp, on the other hand, it only takes a few minutes. Saving time is one advantage, the other is transparency. Because if the same standard versions are installed everywhere, errors can also be rectified much more quickly and, above all, consistently
