The reliable inventory of all fixed and tangible assets in your company, the flexible assignment of their location, owner and status and the ability to combine them into logical groups are the most impressive aspects of asset management.
You can record and evaluate all SNMP-capable devices in the network. These devices are displayed directly in Asset Management and can be supplied with all commercial data from there. The locations of the devices can also be recorded. In addition, identification stickers in the form of barcodes or QR codes can be created directly, making the devices easy to identify.

With the new SNMP Connector, you can now read the data of all SNMP devices in your network and add them to acmp Asset Management. Information on the status and functionality of up to 33 manufacturer codes is recorded.
Already on the ambitious roadmap: Predefined credentials are to be used to automatically identify devices as SNMPv3. If this is not possible, SNMPv2 requests are automatically triggered during the scan to ensure full compatibility.

Asset Management is not only fully integrated into the acmp Suite as an additional module, but also represents a completely new approach to asset management. Many of our customers expressed the desire for a smooth and efficient recording of their IT assets. The focus of acmp Asset Management is particularly on optimized use in companies that rely on flexible problem solutions and attach particular importance to ease of use.
Meet the requirements of ISO standard 27001
With asset management, we help our customers to comply with the international ISO 27001 standard. In the 2005 revision of ISO/IEC 27001, assets are defined as "everything that is of value to the organization". The central focus of ISO 27001 is on maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information. Assets therefore include hardware, software, data, infrastructure, information, outsourced services and people, who in turn have information that is often not available in any other form.

Yes, you also have the option of using user-defined fields for assets. This is particularly interesting for assets, as each device type can have different specific properties.
Can I link assets to my inventoried computers or users?
Yes, links (relationships) can be established between the individual data fields so that you can also determine which assets belong to which computer or user.
Can I determine the progression of actions for assets in asset management?
Yes, every single action/change made to an asset is saved in a change history and can be viewed by the administrator.
