Soest, October 10, 2024: This year, it-sa in Nuremberg is once again proving to be a hotspot for current trends in IT security, the relevance of which is constantly increasing. At Europe's largest IT security event, aagon, one of the leading manufacturers of client management solutions, will be presenting both the new version of its acmp Suite (version 6.7) and comprehensive tools for automating cybersecurity management via UEM. Another highlight is the presentation of the acmp Intune module, which will take endpoint management to a new level.

"Strong together against cyber attacks" is the motto of the security trade fair, which is taking place for the 15th time and has established itself as a meeting place for international IT and security experts. The ever-growing Nuremberg IT trade fair is therefore the ideal forum for the Soest-based software company aagon, which will be presenting its latest solutions for optimum cyber security live.
Under the motto "Better together for your hybrid UEM strategy", aagon presents helpful extensions for endpoint management via Microsoft Intune. The acmp Intune module is where IT administrators want further support in addition to the management of mobile devices and clients controlled by MS Intune: It combines the best of both worlds - cloud and on-premises - in a central management console for clients, servers and mobile devices and thus, in combination with the cloud-based Microsoft Intune, offers a convenient overview of the entire IT infrastructure at all times, while also helping to identify security risks more quickly. aagon will also be demonstrating at the trade fair how the new release - acmp 6.7 - supports companies in meeting NIS 2 requirements.

NIS-2 support

Security is also a top priority in the new release of the acmp Suite. The most important new features include the Multifactor authentication, which is specially designed for the NIS-2 affected companies is relevant. This ensures that only verifiably checked persons have access to the IT resources of the company network.

Anyone who wants to know how companies and IT managers can automate routine tasks and security processes in their corporate IT in practice will gain new insights from the lecture by Sebastian Weber, Head of Product Management at aagon. In his presentation "NIS-2: Instructions for action and the decisive contribution of UEM", Weber will explain how a hybrid UEM strategy can be used to overcome current challenges such as the optimization of IT security, threats from ever-changing cyber risks and the simultaneous shortage of IT specialists. The presentation will take place on Tuesday, October 23 at 11:15 a.m. in Forum 7-C, Hall 7.
