Fast and reliable operating system distribution
Computers are no longer replaced as quickly as they were a few years ago. The performance of modern PCs is usually sufficient for the next operating system version. At the same time, the number of client systems is increasing overall, as more and more users also have a laptop - in addition to the stationary office computer.
Even if a company purchases the machines pre-installed from the manufacturer, there comes a time when a new installation is necessary.
Windows migration
Things are getting tight for companies that are still not using the latest version of Windows. Support for Windows 10 will end in October 2025. From unsuitable hardware and incompatible programs to difficulties during or after installation: the switch to Windows 11 presents companies with a variety of challenges. It should therefore be well planned and properly prepared.
Manage licenses
License management helps to save costs and be legally protected. In many companies, hidden costs lie dormant in the form of over-licensing. Over-licensing occurs when IT purchases more licenses than are actually used in practice.
Depending on the scope and license costs, license management can account for a large proportion of the total IT budget. Over-licensing has various causes. IT administrators often lose track of the coverage and consumption of licenses and quite a few then have the attitude "Better too much than too little!" This quickly leads to unnecessary software purchases.
Replace WSUS with our Windows Update Management
The Windows Server Update Services, WSUS for short, are designed to help IT teams deliver Microsoft updates to local networks. Updates are available on a daily basis because the source is the same as that used by WSUS. With other manufacturers, it is a file provided by Microsoft, which 1. only contains security updates and 2. is not updated on a daily basis, as it is only updated once a month.
However, it is hardly possible to work smoothly and seamlessly with the WSUS due to massive user restrictions. In addition, updates are sometimes withdrawn without notice.
Third-party patch management
Third-party patch management is useful for updates and software packages that would be too time-consuming to manage or create manually. This includes the numerous updates, patches and new release versions.
To meet this challenge, Managed Software supports IT teams in carrying out the corresponding installations securely and reliably. This gives administrators more time to concentrate on their main tasks.
