IT company aagon supports Soest karate talent Shara Hubrich

Soest, August 25, 2017: The ancient Greek word agon, which describes fair competition, has been at the heart of the Soest-based software manufacturer aagon GmbH for around 25 years. The Olympic spirit has now also established contact with a very special, exceptional talent from the Soest district. Shara Hubrich, karateka from TV Borgeln, is delighted with the sponsorship from aagon GmbH.

IT managers are familiar with the Soest-based company aagon GmbH. Around 80 employees work on the client management software acmp in the east of Soest. The "Software Made in Germany" is in demand. The automation software is already being used by over 700 customers in the entire D-A-CH region, and the trend is rising. aagon GmbH has made a name for itself in particular by focusing on medium-sized companies.

The company name aagon comes from "Agon", the ancient Greek term for fair competition and continuous improvement. This is the guiding principle of the Soest-based company, which celebrates its 25th anniversary in September since its foundation. However, Agon is not only reflected in the company's name and logo. Through a private contact, Managing Director Wilko Frenzel became aware of the karate athlete Shara Hubrich, who has not only made a name for herself as the reigning German champion in her performance class, but also as U18 World and European Champion. Shara Hubrich's home club is TV Borgeln.

The 20-year-old karateka can already look back on considerable successes and, as a member of the German Olympic squad, has already achieved the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo firmly in sight. aagon would like to actively support these ambitions. "It's great to be able to accompany and support such an exceptional talent like Shara on her journey!" says Managing Director Wilko Frenzel, who himself stood on the traditional tatami mats in his youth.
