Optimum security managed via perfect client management

Soest, April 11, 2018: A future-oriented cooperation between two successful German software manufacturers: The client management specialist aagon and the security expert Avira present their first joint solution - the acmp Avira Management Console. This is a convenient management platform for the Avira antivirus software with the help of the acmp client management suite. The package also includes 15 test licenses of acmp, which demonstrate the advantages of professional client management to Avira users.

With the acmp Avira Management Console, the two software companies are addressing the IT managers of medium-sized companies who are looking for a convenient and comprehensive security solution. Both manufacturers have been developing and maintaining their solutions 100% in Germany for many years and bear the "Software Made in Germany" label, which is becoming increasingly important in the SME sector.

While Avira's antivirus business solutions reliably protect corporate IT against malware and cyberattacks, aagon's acmp Suite stands for convenient and customer-oriented management of the entire corporate IT. With the new joint solution, the central centralized management of antivirus products now takes place directly via acmp. This means that the Avira antivirus products can be easily and quickly distributed and maintained on all of a company's clients via aagon's on-premises client management solution.

At the same time as the development of the aagon/Avira management platform, the acmp version 5.3.0 some new features that make the everyday work of IT administrators much easier. These enhancements are already included in the acmp Avira Management Console:

Rules for agent installation: IT managers can now use this feature to define rules that can be used to automatically distribute acmp agents according to individual requirements. In addition, the way in which the agent installation list is filled can now be defined. IP address ranges are now also possible.

Installation accounts: Multiple installation accounts can now be specified when pushing one or more acmp agents.
