Another highlight of acmp 5.4.2 is the ultra-fast vulnerability scan. While the previous scanning process - for example, of an unpatched Windows 7 environment - was 95 minutes this work step only takes a few minutes. eight seconds! This significant improvement is made possible by a new type of scan tool - developed by the aagon experts. To make it easier for IT administrators to find the culprit, the scan evaluation has also been optimized: This is because the acmp Console now clearly shows on which file path and in which file the vulnerability is located.
The Avira virus scan, which can be scheduled in advance and set individually for each client so that it starts every Friday at 12 noon, for example, has also been improved.
Another interesting innovation: the S.M.A.R.T. data - S.M.A.R.T stands for System for Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Status Reporting - acmp now reads out complete data from hard disks and makes it available in the inventory management. Here, the IT administrator can see at a glance what condition the hard disks are in and whether an HDD failure is imminent.
