Asset Management

Asset Management now has its own app. This is now available in the Apple Appstore and Android Playstore.

aesb version 1.3 for the Asset Management App

You will now find the aesb 1.3 installer in the acmp server directory "%acmpServer%\Installers". This is required in order to use the Asset Management App. You can find information on the installation and update in whitepapers which are stored in the same folder.

With this version you also receive the Mobile Iron Connector in aesb to synchronize data from mobile devices to acmp.

General:

The execution time of queries has been optimized, especially when executing queries with MultiValue Fields and in environments with many client commands.

The processing of client requests on the server has been optimized. This reduces load peaks, especially in large environments (2000 clients or more).

Helpdesk:

If there were several embedded images in a comment, only the first one was displayed in full. All other images were only displayed with a placeholder. All embedded images are now displayed again.

OS Deployment:

If elements were present, such as boot images, which were not released during the update to 5.4.7, a problem occurred during the sync process to the file repositories. This bug has now been fixed.

CAWUM:

Downloading Windows Update files now also works if a proxy with authentication is required.

The performance in CAWUM has been improved in some areas, especially in large environments.

The integrity check of downloaded updates in CAWUM has been optimized.

When executing an update collection within a job collection during a rollout, the detailed results of the update collection can now also be viewed in the job monitor.

Components to be updated:

You do not need to update any additional acmp components after updating to acmp 5.4.8.

Changelog:

As always, you can find out what has been corrected and improved in detail in the detailed changelog.
