Committed to users and partners

Despite corona and the associated restrictions, aagon GmbH continues to expand. In order to offer users and partners the proven quality of training and further education as well as the opportunity to exchange ideas despite cancelled trade fairs and events, the specialist for client management from Soest has organized a large number of webinars and online events in record time, which have enjoyed lively participation and a good response.

Despite the pandemic, all aagon partners and the more than 2,800 customers of the acmp solution in Germany, Austria and Switzerland did not have to forego their regular Exchange of experts or their Training opportunities do without. Although aagon was forced to cancel three planned trade fair participations (Twenty2x, it-sa and secIT) and an additional four on-site events this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, the marketing, sales and training teams managed to put together virtual alternatives in a very short space of time: Twenty Webinars, seven acmp Competence Days and Four online user meetings have already taken place and further dates have been set for the end of the year and can be booked.

During the seven Online Competence Days held so far this year, the participating interested parties were able to learn live from external customer representatives how acmp is used in the company and how uncomplicated the collaboration - including software implementation - with aagon is. At the online user meetings, aagon also offered individual topic rooms following the main event. The topics on the agenda included the aagon Enterprise Service Bus (aesb), Complete aagon Windows Update Management (CAWUM) and users' feature requests. After the event, each participant received a video recording of the event, including detailed questions and answers. In August, the partners also received a very special highlight: an online technical preview, the presentation of the new acmp Release 6.0.

"I particularly like the new online format, especially given the occasion," says Stefan Kötter, IT Project Manager at Bernard Krone Holding SE & Co. KG, summarizing his experience with the new offerings from aagon. "The tools are easy to use and worked without any problems; interactive work was straightforward. The structure of the events is clearly structured and well timed. The presenters responded to the audience's questions and explained everything directly wherever possible. If you want to look at a topic again at your leisure, the webinar is made available as a recording." And participant Tim Gerundt, IT administrator at Montanhydraulik GmbH, added: "The content was good and interesting. As always, the aagon team was competent and friendly! A really good solution in the current situation!"

Stefanie Christ, Head of Marketing at aagon, summarizes her experience with the new formats as follows: "Based on the number of participants of over 40 per event, a time commitment of three to four hours each and consistently positive feedback, we can see that our online offerings are extremely well received by our partners and users. I am very proud that we were able to implement the virtual user meetings, the Competence Days and additional webinars so quickly as a real team effort. And of course, in view of the current pandemic developments, we are already planning further online offerings for the coming year."
