New solution: acmp Defender Management

With the new acmp Defender Management solution, acmp makes Microsoft Defender manageable for companies. In addition to complete administration and control, this also includes centralized quarantine management.

Kiosk:

Due to a fixed bug in the kiosk filters, you will have to recreate all filters / conditions with "Active Directory User" after the update.

New filter option: "Is Operating System". This allows a client command to be displayed or not in the kiosk based on the operating system version.

Inventory:

New field in the Operating System area: "Display version" now shows the current Windows version, e.g. "20H2".

New field in the Hard Drives area: "Media Type" indicates whether it is an HDD or SSD.

New field for CAWUM: It can now be displayed whether a client still needs to be restarted due to one or more updates.

Queries can now be edited directly without having to be executed first.

Client Command Center:

The output of a Powershell command now takes place without the last invisible character. This makes further processing easier.

The command: "Install Driver Package" now offers extended logging.

All acmp system variables are now directly selectable in the Package Wizard.

Container:

The old custom icons have been replaced by the new custom images. In addition, significantly more custom images are supplied.

Console:

When logging on to the acmp Console, it is possible to log on users from a domain forest as well as users from domains in a trust.

In Quick Launch, clients found can now be dragged and dropped directly into containers or HD tickets, for example.

Various visual and performance improvements in the acmp settings. In addition, there is now a search function for the settings.

The existing test and release rings have been changed to test and release processes. This makes it possible to work even more flexibly in this area.

Job Monitor:

For a container job, it is now possible to navigate directly from the Job Monitor to the relevant container.

Managed Software:

Several software packages can now be canceled at the same time.

CAWUM:

The dual scan of the Windows Update API is now deactivated by default for management via CAWUM.

Updates withdrawn by Microsoft will no longer be synchronized to the client with immediate effect.

When downloading updates "On Demand", exceptions can now be defined which are downloaded immediately when available.

OS Deployment:

The "Custom Rollout" function directly from a query can now be authorized separately.

You can specify in the rollout template whether a new client ID should be generated.

Helpdesk:

The rules can also be used to automatically set tickets to the "closed" status.

Mail Service:

The acmp Mail Service now also supports Modern Auth (OAuth2) as an authentication mode.

Vulnerability management:

The import of new vulnerability databases has been significantly accelerated.

acmp Agent:

When restarting the agent via the agent tasks at a specific time, it could happen that the agent performed this restart more than once. This can now no longer happen.

The Powershell parts of the Software Scanner can now be deactivated for each client via a registry entry.

Discontinuation:

At the official end of support for "Avira Antivirus for Business" in December 2021, we will also completely remove Avira support from acmp.
