acmp receives a new solution for updating Windows and Microsoft products. This solution completely replaces the WSUS Server. Further information and videos with detailed descriptions can be found here: acmp Windows Update Management

General:

New inventory fields:

• Metered connection: acmp now inventories whether a network connection is metered or not.
• Battery life status: The life status of a battery in % is now read out and displayed.

All queries now have a new filter search. This is located in the first line of the query and significantly simplifies the filtering of queries.

When editing or duplicating user groups, all users can now be selected at the same time.

With the help of the new SwapServerFileRepository.exe tool, the acmp server repository can now be easily swapped to another share.

The acmp Console no longer requires administrative authorizations from the user. The exception is the OS deployment and the patch process of the console.

The settings now show whether the connection to the SICS service has been established or not.

Desktop Automation:

As soon as a job is scheduled to run, a job delay can now be set natively for the user. The user can then decide whether the job is to be executed at the scheduled time, later with various reminder intervals or on shutdown.

It is now possible to set whether or not a job is to be executed when the client is connected to the server at regular intervals.

The tagging of a large number of clients in containers has been accelerated.

In the installation parameters in the package wizard, all acmp variables can now be used with Ctrl+Space.

License management:

The "License ID" field can now also be displayed in the Compliance view.

OS Deployment:

To speed up the editing of all elements in OS Deployment, the wizards now all open in tabbed design.

Helpdesk:

The acmp Console now remembers for each user whether the format bar for text fields is shown or hidden.
