Everything at a glance: Fix vulnerabilities & manage licenses

Soest, February 28, 2017: The aagon team is dedicating this year's CeBIT presentation to three major topics: vulnerability management, license management and asset management. For each of these topics, the client management experts from Soest will be presenting perfect solutions that significantly simplify the day-to-day work of IT administrators. aagon can be seen in Hall 3, Stand E17.

The brand new acmp Vulnerability Management module is showing its full potential to the public for the first time: outdated software, operating systems and drivers pose an enormous risk to the security of any company's IT. With the current acmp Suite 5.1, aagon is now presenting a integrated vulnerability management that identifies potential risks, offers solutions and implements them automatically.

Another focus is on the Asset Management - the complete recording and management of the workstation inventory. The acmp suite takes into account all assets belonging to a workplace. This includes not only IT equipment such as computers, keyboards, mice, monitors and mobile devices, but also the desks and chairs belonging to the workstation. This means that the IT and company management always has a complete Overview of all available assets, can sort devices by cost center, user and location and also calculate depreciation totals, acquisition costs and warranty data.

An insight into the The aagon team also permits the new license management that will be delivered with the next version (5.2). The new features include the Fingerprint database acmp DNA, a database that automatically recognizes over 700,000 releases from more than 14,000 manufacturers with all key features. The new version also enables improved and easier-to-evaluate reports, and license-dependent conditions can be defined: for example, whether the license currently in use is valid for a new software version.
