New acmp release simplifies IT administration

Soest, December 21, 2016:aagon knows what IT administrators want - this is the motto under which the innovations of the current release acmp 5.1.3 can be summarized. As one of the leading manufacturers of client management and client automation solutions for SMEs, aagon demonstrates anew with each release how the complex tasks of IT managers can be simplified with the help of intelligent software tools.

The new release of aagon's software suite focuses on IT managers' desire for effective solutions for tedious routine tasks. Version acmp 5.1.3 has been equipped with extensive additional functionalities that help medium-sized companies to optimally manage and strategically secure their increasingly complex IT systems.

acmp 5.1.3 simplifies IT administration

The new release has many exciting new features in store, such as a Rule engine for the helpdesk - similar to Outlook - with which jobs can be assigned automatically based on keywords, ticket creators, type of ticket, etc., or the "Bulk Change" function, which allows several tickets to be processed at the same time. This new function is particularly practical if an employee is absent and cannot process the tickets intended for them. In this case, Bulk Change forwards all tickets to another IT colleague in one go if required.

Also extremely labor-saving are the New timings for the targeted execution of client commands: In addition to the existing timings, the administrator can now define whether a client command should be executed "As soon as possible", "Until a specific time" or "From a specific time". With the direct Wake On Lan integration, any client command can install an urgent software update or a Windows patch, for example, even if the PC is actually switched off. In addition, acmp 5.1.3 offers full IPv6 support.

Also new in the Client Command Center area is the "Install MSU Package", with which Windows updates now distributed directly via acmp can be used. The use of a WSUS server, which is generally associated with increased administrative effort, is therefore no longer necessary.
